At times of crisis, some organisations’ knee-jerk reaction is to cut back on employee benefits to reserve capital and protect jobs.

However, these decisions hold huge ramifications for workplace culture and employee wellbeing - and can have a huge impact on talent management and retainment as businesses recover.

Organisations that maintain, or even develop, their employee wellbeing strategies are now becoming more appealing as we head back into the workplace, yet financial wellbeing is often left out of this offering.

Our survey, held in partnership with HR Magazine, hopes to find out why that might be the case, and what HR teams can do to better support their employees with financial concerns or those simply looking to make better use of their money.

And as a thank you for taking part, respondents to the survey will be able to enter a prize draw to win an iPad 10.2.

The current coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak is a fast-evolving situation and will of course raise questions as to the potential impact on Group Protection and Health Insurance.

Insurers will look to Government guidance when reviewing how this affects their products, however it is important to note that insurers will interpret some of the potential issues differently in line with their own terms and conditions. As such, if you would like to discuss any aspects in the context of your specific arrangements, please get in touch with either your usual Punter Southall Aspire contact or the wider Health & Protection Team. We will be on hand to provide support and guidance at this challenging time and assist in the interpretation of the insurer stances.
