Critics and reviewers play a powerful role in bringing new works to the public’s attention.

But they can't tell you precisely what the *creator* of those works was thinking.

That insight can only come from the horse's mouth, as it were. (Yes, I realise I'm the horse in this metaphor.)

So after sharing with you some of the reader reviews and media coverage my book Manage the Gap: Achieving Success with Intergenerational Teams has received since its publication, today I'd like to share my own perspective and intentions in writing it.

At the book's launch, I gave a talk on the changing landscape of the British workplace and the implications of an ageing, increasingly multigenerational workforce.
